Vision
To build a God-first culture throughout the DC Metro area.

Mission
To build a God-first, multicultural church, meeting in multiple locations, that influences the culture one person at a time.

Method
Our methodology focuses on five targeted areas:
1. Passionate and Relevant Sunday Services
2. Life-giving Connection Track
3. Authentic Gender Based Ministries
4. Relationally Driven Outreach Metro Groups
5. Biblical Leadership Tracks

DC Metro Church seeks to build a God-first culture through transformational discipleship and through developing intentional relationships.

God-first Culture
Our foundational value that God is meant to be first in every area of our lives, which expresses itself in the following ways:

God Honoring- We seek to honor Him above all else in all that we do and all that we are. (Matthew 6:33)

Bible Focused- God’s Word is powerful, life-giving Truth that is a catalyst for transformation in our lives. (Hebrews 4:12)

Passionate Worship- God is worshipped to reciprocate His extravagant love and to invite His Presence. (James 4:8a)

Conversational Prayer– God speaks today and invites us into a dynamic communication with Him so that we can experience His love, freedom, and guidance. (John 10:4)

One Vision- We are one unified team pursuing one unified dream of building a God-first culture throughout the DC Metro area. (Psalm 133:1)


Transformational Discipleship
Our value that a relationship with God should lead to authentic transformation in our lives, which expresses itself in the following ways:

Strategic Growth- We intentionally develop life-giving, discipleship systems and mentoring relationships that help cultivate wholehearted followers of Christ. (2 Timothy 2:2)

Practical Messages- Messages are designed to encourage, challenge, and equip us from God’s Word. They are not merely a theology lesson, but rather meant to inspire change in how we live and love. (2 Timothy 3:16)

Generosity- We live to give of our time, resources, and ultimately our lives to further the cause of Christ because we have a God who gave everything for us. (1 John 3:16)

Strategic Service- We position ourselves for purpose when our gifts are identified, implemented, and aligned to meet others’ needs, serving both in God’s House and beyond the four walls of the church. (Philippians 2:4)

Leadership Development- We are about developing unshakable, catalytic leaders, so that each person reaches their God-potential and impacts their sphere of influence. (Ephesians 2:10)


Intentional Relationships
Our value that you should purposefully seek out God-first relationships because we are designed for authentic community, which expresses itself in the following ways:

Honor Others- We honor God by honoring others, and therefore we seek to intentionally build a culture of genuine honor towards leadership and all peoples. (1 Peter 2:17)

Authentic Relationships- Transformation happens best in the context of healthy, God-first relationships. (Proverbs 27:17)

Attractively Diverse- We seek to be a multicultural church that looks like heaven, and we intentionally create a politics-free zone in order to build bridges for the gospel. (Revelation 7:9)

Accepting Community- No matter what you have done or what you believe, you will be welcomed because this is a reflection of God’s heart. (Romans 15:7)

Outward Focus- We are all about reaching those who have not personally encountered God and providing a place where they can experience His irrevocable love in a real, relevant, and enjoyable environment. (2 Peter 3:9)
